Among matters discussed or noted: 1. Minutes of the last meeting read and approved. 2. Death of Professor Henry G. Hennessy. 3. Professor Franz von Leydig nominated as a Foreign Member, to be proposed at the next Ordinary Meeting. 4. List of candidates for Fellowship, to be recommended for election at the Annual Meeting: the list to be circulated to the Press. 5. Letter from the Royal Geographical Society on appointments to the Joint Antrarctic Committee. 6. Report that the small joint committee to consider the instructions for the Antarctic Expedition had commenced, noting membership. 7. Applications to be invited for the Mackinnon Studentship. 8. Income from the Gunning Fund had accumulated for three years; its application to be referred to the Sectional Committees on Zoology, Botany and Physiology for a joint report. 9. Secretary to inform the Berlin Academy that selection for the biennial award of the Joule Studentship lies with them. 10. Applications received for the Publication Fund: all monies had been allocated for the year, therefore no further grants to be made. 11. P. L. Sclater nominated as a delegate to the 5th International Congress on Zoology. 12.
