Includes details of Wilkie's experiment work with Dr Dawson and Dr David Gadian on the control of glycolysis in frog muscle; the taking of first high-grade spectra from intact human limbs and performing experiments on the effect of exercise and of anoxia; plans to work on the Bruker spectrometer at Mill Hill; intention to continue working on human muscular contraction; research on isolated muscles, the uterine muscle, and frog muscles. Discusses his investigations into spectra of the human brain, clinical muscle disorders using Nuclear Magnetic Resonance spectroscopy, wishing to further the study of application of NMR to clinical problems.
Each report also includes a list of Wilkie's publication outpur for that year.
