Includes letters discussing scientific work and publications in their field of study; a copy of a 1996 paper by Dawson et al on "Observation and Quantitation of Lactate in Oxidative and Glycolytic Fibers of Skeletal Muscles"; letter from Wilkie to Dr E. X. Albuquerque, Professor and Chairman of the Department of Pharmacology & Experimental Therapeutics, University of Maryland, recommending Joan Dawson for a post in the Department; letters between Wilkie and William G. Van der Kloot, relating to Joan Dawson, pertaining to her CV and work, following her interest in a faculty position in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics at University College London.
