Citation | Mr Joseph Ames of London, Author of a curious history now in the Press, of the begining and progress of the Art of printing in England, being desirous to Offer himself as a candidate for Election into this Royal Society; we who are personally acquainted with him, do hereby propose & recommend him, as a Gentleman of knowledg and extensive curiosity, an assiduous promoter of whatever may tend to the improvement of the Natural History and Antiquities of his Country or of Learning in general; and well qualified to be a usefull member of this Body |
