A Gentleman very well acquainted with Natural History, particularly the knowledge of Animals, with a very Learned and Curious Specimen of which he has lately obliged the Curious in those Studies in a Book entitled a 'Natural History of Birds', being desirous to become a Member of this Society; we whose Names are under Written do from our personal knowledge of him, propound and recommend him as a person highly deserving that honour, and one who will be a usefull fellow of the Royal Society.
