Citation | Abbe Guyon of Paris, Author of a curious History of the East Indies, and the commerce of the European Nations in those parts, as also of a Valuable Historie of the Egyptians Carthagenians and other Ancient Nations, desiring the Honour of offering himself a Candidate for Election into the Royal Society: We do hereby propose him, and as well upon the reputation of his merit and Learning, as upon the particular recommendation of Monsr le Monier and other members of our Society living abroad, our Selves also recommending as a Gentn well deserving to be elected into our body. |
