| Citation | Doctor William Brackenridge Rector of St Mic Bassishaw Librarian to Sion College & Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries, London. A Gentleman not only well Versed in Mathematical, and most other Branches of, Literature, but also who has published in 1733 a learned Latin Treatise entituled: 'Exercitatio Geometrica &c', and in 1735 presented to this worthy Society, a paper Containing some new Theorems in Geometry, and who has now by him, another Manuscript, which he intends to Publish next winter, entituled 'Exercitatio Geometrica altera &c' being desirous of the Honour of becoming a Fellow of this Society; we do from our personal Knowledge of him, recommend him as one who is capable of being a valuable & Usefull member of the Same, & every way deserving that Honour |
