Citation | The Revd William Pearson LLD & MRI, Rector of South Kilworth in the County of Leicester, but residing at East Sheen, in the County of Surrey, a Gentleman well versed in various branches of natural knowledge, and more particularly Astronomy and the application of science to the mechanical arts, being desirous of becoming a Fellow of the Royal Society, we whose names are hereunto subscribed, do, on our personal knowledge, recommend him as deserving of that honour and as likely to become a valuable and useful member. |
