Citation | University Lecturer in Hygiene, Cambridge, since 1906. Distinguished for his original researches in Pathology, Bacteriology, Protozoology and Insects in relation to Disease, embodied in 36 publications which have appeared since 1902. Papers: - Four important papers on 'Diphtheria' (vide Journ Hyg, 1902, 1905, 1906), &c (ibid); 'The Biological or Precipitin Test for Blood considered mainly from its Medico-legal Aspects' (ibid), (Part I with F Sanger); 'Blood Relationship amongst the Lower Vertebrata and Arthropoda,' &c (included in Nuttall's 'Blood Immunity,' &c); 'A New Species of Parasite found in the Red Blood Corpuscles of Moles' (Journ Hyg, 1906); 'A Cystic Disease of . . . . . 'Psittacus undulatus', due to a Protozoan Parasite' (ibid); 'Swollen Head in Turkeys' (Journ Agric Sci); Section iv being pp 122-448 of 'The Bacteriology of Diphtheria' (edited by Nuttall and Graham-Smith) includes much original work by the latter alone.
