(b) Theory of Saturn's Ring - 'The influence of Satellites upon the Form of Saturn's Ring' (Phil Trans, 1921); 'The Cause of Encke's Division in Saturn's Ring' (Proc Roy Soc, 1923); 'The Possible Ellipticity of Saturn's Ring' (Proc Roy Soc, 1924). (c) Theory of torsional vibrations in reciprocating engine shafts.
