TitleClark, Alfred Joseph: certificate of election to the Royal Society
DescriptionDate stamp on reverse
CitationProfessor Clark's earlier work on the development of the hypodynamic state in the heart is of great importance, in connection with recent theories of cardiac function and of nervous influences thereon. In his recent papers on the effect of drugs on the heart and other tissues he has introduced fresh ideas and technique into a field of pharmacological research which has long remained sterile.
