Has published (from 1912 onwards) numerous original papers on plant anatomy, palaeobotany and physiological anatomy in the Annals of Botany, Journal of Ecology and New Phytologist. His recent contribution on 'The Distribution of Stomata' (Phil Trans, B, 1927) marks a new departure in this field. Joint author (with Prof F E Fritsch) of several standard textbooks. |
