| Title | Frazer, Robert Alexander: certificate of election to the Royal Society |
| Description | Citation typed |
| Citation | Distinguished for his contributions to Aeronautics, and in particular to our understanding of aeroelastic 'flutter', - a field in which his original investigations are classical. Primarily a mathematician, he has shown great skill and ingenuity in experiment, and with J R Pannell conducted almost all the full-scale work of this country on rigid airships. A list of his published papers is attached: much of his work has been concerned with accident investigation, and so is secret. |
