Citation | B.Sc. (Petrograd), D.Sc. (London). Formerly Lecturer in Medical Zoology, Petrograd. Distinuished for his researches on parasitic protozoa, especially trypanosomes. His works on trypanosomiasis in British sheep (1923), the life-history of T. grayi (1928-1931), coccidian of vertebrates (1933), and coprozoic ciliates (1927), are, among others, generally recognized as of outstanding merit. His thorough knowledge of the Russian language has also been of great service to his colleagues, an he has edited the Zool. Rec. (Protozoa) with conspicuous ability for 18 years. Author of over 70 publications (list attached). |
