| Description | Minutes of meetings of the Philosophical Society of Dublin held between 4 to 25 May 1685 Matters discussed: - presentation of a stone found in the middle of a limestone from West Meath - a dissection of Siamese twins, an account of a 'monster' chicken and a description of a patient with a strong pulse by Dr Mullen - barometric readings - Mr Molyneux's description of a weather clock - Dr Willoughby's account of hermaphrodites - a method of discovering the distances of the moon and sun from the earth by Mr Aland Ashe adds a note saying he presumed that Molyneux had already passed on this information to the Royal Society. Addressee is unidentified Read to the Royal Society on 24 June 1685 |
