DescriptionDr C F A Pantin was Chair of the South Pacific Expeditions Committee at the time of this correspondence. The letter notes that there is little Professor Rogers can do about the Australian Academy of Sciences opposition to the expedition, but that his colleague G B Sharman is keen to join the expedition. A copy of a note from G B Sharman is included at the end of the letter, he writes about the relationships between South American and Australian marsupials, as well as South American insects and their Australian relatives.
