DescriptionLetters in this file relate to discussions surrounding the future of the specimens collected during the Southern Chile expedition. Correspondents include Sir Gavin de Beer, Director of the British Museum (Natural History), Dr C F A Pantin, DC Martin, Dr M W Holdgate and Dr Kushel. Later correspondence includes lists of the current distribution of specimens (May 1962), discussions of what to do with unsorted expedition material and letters concerning the display of specimens from the expedition at a Royal Society Soiree.
