TitleSolomon Islands expedition - accounts and general financial papers
DateNovember 1964 - December 1966
DescriptionPrinted accounts for the Royal Society's expedition to the Solomon Islands. The file includes monthly accounts (from November 1964 to October 1966) sent to the Society by Crown Agents, along with invoices for the Royal Society records, showing the relevant purchases for each month. When there have been no transactions, as in December 1964, the Crown Agents have generally supplied a note stating this. Other items in the file include, a cumulative income and expenditure account for the period 1st January 1965 to 20th December 1966 from W B Keen & Co., Chartered Accountants, and a certificate of cash balance and assets from the Crown Agents. There are also handwritten accounts along with some rough notes, but it is not clear who the author of these accounts is, and whether the source is internal Royal Society or from either the Crown Agents or W B Keen & Co.
