DescriptionField reports from the the botanists and plant specialists sent on expedition. The reports vary considerably in length, from short regular updates to more indepth analysis of the collecting work. There are some reports filed within the botany and forestry file, that do cross over with other areas of investigation, chiefly these are report from Anthony Mathews, collecting termites and microarthropods, and from J A Ratter, who collected fish and rodents alongside plants. There is one very short report in Portugese, with a handwritten note stating that a translation follows. Note that there is no translation in the file.
