Description | Letter on headed notepaper from the National Physical Laboratory, Teddington, Middlesex 'You will remember telling me that you were dissatisfied with regard to some of the Germans invited to this country. I took the matter up with Dale and told him that you were writing to him, but afterwards found he was in America. I therefore suggested that you should write to the Secretary of the Foreign Office Committee, Apparently you have not done this. We have a meeting in the coming week - Wednesday, 12th November - so that if you think it advisable to take any steps you should do it promptly. I enclose a letter Worsfield, the Secretary of the Committee, has just written to me on the subject, and in the light of this you may feel it unnecessary, though I am still inclined to think that a word direct from you, rather thatn indirectly from me, would be desirable.
