TitleCuthbert Bazett, University of Philadelphia, to Dale
Date4 October 1929
DescriptionThanking Dale for his assistance in clearing up 'this clash of two egoists' - A V Hill and Amberson. He has no doubt that Hill is 'absolutely straight, though possibly somewhat self-centred' but has heard criticisms from non-British workers that Hill 'has the habit of visualising the ideas as all his own' and is concerned that personal peculiarities are not generalised into national ones
