DescriptionThanks for letter - regrets he cannot come to Physiological Society meeting - would like to discuss question of Nuffield Chair of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Oxford - would like to see Cairns' paper on this - has encouraged one obstetrician to apply - comments on this - puzzled that there should be a campaign against foundation of Chair of Obstetrics, led by the Professor of Surgey, in view of fact that appointment has already been made to the Chair of Anaesthetics - comments on this - asks Florey to send him information and to arrange to see him - goes to USA on 22 April.
