DescriptionThanks Florey for putting him in touch with Mellanby - is prepared to take Florey's and Mellanby's advice about original plan - will not be at meeting tomorrow as has to prepare paper for cancer conference - tells Florey not to give up his bacteriologist - next term's meetings should be less of a strain - Florey could resign from Nuffield Committee at end of academic year - asks Florey and Mellanby to lunch with him on Tuesday - does not think he should press proposal about Chair of Obstetrics but should push clause 2 about the budget - dissensions should bring with them so much general approval of endocrinology, that this will be accepted.
