DescriptionReport of chemical synthesis [of penicillin] is false - Winthrop Co has extracted some penicillin thought to be suitable for clinical trial - several clinics have been asked if they would like to try the product - this has not been studied in laboratory animals as fully as preparation for which Heatley is responsible - thinks it right for Heatley to be in USA - comments on Mrs Miller [haem streptococcus septicaemia] and on case of staphylococcus septicaemia [both treated with penicillin].
