DescriptionMr Taylor reported the interesting results Lady Florey obtained with procaine penicillin suspension - comments on experience that increasing dose has little influence on blood level and affects duration - comments on clinical results obtained in treatment of staphylococcal infections and of gonorrhoea - animal experiments show a preparation of 100 000 animal experiments show a preparation of 100 000 units sodium penicillin and 200 000 units procaine penicillin in arachis oil with aluminium stearate, is capable of providing the desirable initial blood levels and the required duration - would be pleased to supply some for Lady Florey's use - are examining possibility of issuing procaine penicillin in dry form containing suspending and wetting agent - discusses this - would be pleased to send material for trial.
