Describes the dinner as 'one of the most remarkable', 'indicating the signs of the times and the improvement in the opinion of society" noting that the mix of nobility and representants from the arts mixing with "the elite of science of England" may indicate a renewed energy towards science hopefully spurred by the "youthful Queen" who attended.
