DescriptionDaily observations of winds, weather, atmospheric pressure and temperature, with readings varying from no observations to one per day, to six per day at varying times: some timigs noted as sunrise and sunset. Wind direction and strength are recorded; a column for general weather remarks is completed only occasionally.

No observations were taken on the following days: 18 January, 21 February, 1 March, 10 March, 20 March, 22 April, 10 May, 22 May, 28 May, 1 June, 6 June, 29-30 July, 23-26 August, 11 September, and 15-16 September.

Commencing: 'Mr. Cavendish 1789'.
