DescriptionMeasurements of atmospheric pressure and temperature from astronomical noon; and at 4 hours, 10 hours, 12 hours, 16 hours and 19 hours. With brief notes on meterorological and astronomical phemonena. The observations were taken daily, with periodic gaps in readings. Two barometer were used, by Ramsden and by Troughton, with a thermometer by Frazer.

Each page is headed 'Table of Meteorological Observations' with a note to p.33, 'Examined May 17 1805'. Commencing 'off Margate' 6 April-31 July 1802

Horsburgh's instruments are listed as 'A. Marine barometer made by Ramsden, London. B. Marine barometer made by Troughton, London. Thero. Therometer made by Frazer, London'.
