Single morning and afternoon or evening observations are presented on opposing pages: the former at times ranging from 5.00am to 9.00am, and the latter varying from 1.00pm to 10.00pm. Columns for day, date and hour of observation, wind direction, barometer readings, outdoor thermometer readings, and general weather observations. With rainfall in inches.

With a monthly summary of rainfall for 1789 [p.27] , totals for rainfall in 1787-1789 and a average for the three year period.
