Commencing with observations made at 6.00am, midday, 3.00pm and at 9.00pm., with time variations during this period, and up to seven observations taken on any one day. Columns for the date and tome, thermometers 1-4, barometer, wind direction and force, with general remarks on the weather, including many observations of the aurora borealis and other phenomena, the condition of river ice, occasional nature observations, and the impact of cold on people.
