DescriptionDaily meteorological observations made at Eastmain House, the Hudson's Bay Company station in Quebec, Canada. Columns for the date; morning, noon and evening thermometer readings (the times not specified), with wind direction and general remarks on the weather. Observations taken in the period 1777-1778 are recorded consistently; those for 1781, which also contain barometer readings, are very incomplete, with only a few post-January entries.

Headed [p.1]: 'Eastmain House in Hudsons Bay 1777'. Also inscribed 'Presented by Mr. Hutchins 1784'.
