Headed [p.1]: 'Having now carried on this Diary through the Year, the following Table is intended to bring it into a more connected point of view fromthence general Conclusions may be drawn [of - deleted] from the different changes in the Atmosphere during that Period...' Stamped [p.1]: 'Soc: Reg: Lond: ex dono Auctoris' and inscribed in ink 'Apr. 10 1788'.

The author and place of observations are not identified in the text, but are attributed to Petrie in the table of contents.
