DescriptionDaily meteorological observations summaries, at Canton [Guangzhou], China. Usually three sets of observations per day, the times varying, with some gaps of severak days within the set. Columns for date and times of observations, thermometer and barometer readings, with general weather observations. With seperate summaries of highest and lowest thermometer and barometer readings, with median of two observations, and median of all observations, on each sheet.

With a table of averages of winds [p.87], July 1771-December 1774, expressed as north, south, east, and west and headed: 'Canton in China. Average of the Winds for the folowing years'.

The author is not noted in the text, but attributed in the volume's table of contents.
