Together with curves for temperature, taken from the thermometers attached to the horizontal and vertical force magnetometers [also referrred to here as bifilar and balance magnetiometers]. Presented on monthly printed sheets for observations commencing on 18 January, 24 February and 22 March [Gottingen mean time].

Each sheet is signed by S.O.E. Ludlow, as Superintendent of the Observatory. Inscribed [p.2]: 'Term Day Curves Jan-Mar 1843'.
