DescriptionObservations of magnetometers, kept on printed forms: columns for specification of magnetometer (declination, horizontal force and vertical force), times of observations (Gottingen mean time and mean time at observatory), and magnetometer readings with means. Below the main tables are secondary columns for meteorological observations: hour of Gottingen mean time, thermometers, barometer and electrometer [no readings], with general weather [usually wind direction and cloud cover].

These records are headed 'Falkland Islands' and 'Port Louis, Berkeley Sound, East Falkland Islands'.
