DescriptionTables of magnetic declination and magnetic intensity, twelve observations per hour for each, made during twenty-four hour periods at the Brera Observatory in Milan on 20-21 September 1843 and on 18-19 October 1843 [pp.1-2].

Both sets of observations were enclosed in the form of a letter communicated to the Royal Society by Francesco Carlini and endorsed as received on 28 October 1843 by John David Roberton, and on 2 November 1843 by Samuel Hunter Christie. Numbered 403 and 404. With lists of observers and participants, signed by Robert Stambucchi and dated 21 October 1843.
