DescriptionNine graphs showing the performance of [initially] three barometers, noted as iron barometers [Newman type?] numbered 1 and 2, and an unidentified mountain barometer. A separate curve shows the performance of an attached thermometer. Each sheet plots one week of daily observations against a column headed 'Corrected Barometer reduced to Temp 32 degrees Fah[renhei]t.' Readings from the no.2 iron barometer cease on 6 March 1844.

On printed data sheets headed: 'No.3. Meteorological Curves'. Inscribed below: 'Published and Sold by William H. Jones. 62, Charing Cross London.' Each printed sheet has a separate cover page, commencing [p.1]: 'Comparison of the Mountain and Iron Barometers for the Week Ending Jany. 28th 1844.', and continuing in similar style.
