TitleMeteorological observations at London, England, by [Francis Hauksbee]
CreatorHauksbee; Francis (1688-1763); British scientific instrument maker and lecturer on science
Date1 January 1725-31 December 1728
DescriptionMorning and evening observations of the weather, made daily, including temperature and barometric readings. Four annual gatherings, with some supplementary summaries of rainfall for the years 1725-1726, corresponding to the values of the larger weather tables, one noting the quantity of rain 'at London'.

The hand is that of the younger Francis Hauksbee, houskeeper and clerk to the Royal Society. The observations may therefore have been taken at Crane Court, Fleet Street, and are a continuation of those at CLP/5/43. The larger gatherings in the series were originally numbered in blue pencil MA.358, 359 and 360; these designations have been crossed out and renumbered (again in blue pencil) to MA.328, 329 and 330.
