DescriptionTable of the area of water and quay space at the several dry basins, wet docks, new North Works and new South Works, and graving docks [p.1], all at Liverpool. With a total for the length of the Mersey river wall belonging to the Dock Estate. A second table [p.2] lists the names of entrances to the Liverpool Docks, with widths, heights of the sills, and sill copings. A third table provides a summary of the levels of tides in the period 1816-1821.

Headed: 'Table shewing the Area of Water and the Quantity of Quay Space of the Liverpool Docks, exclusive of the Corporation Graving Docks, Liverpool 1834'. The item is inscribed in ink [p.2]: 'To JW Lubbock Esq. Jesse Hartley 19 Feb 1835'. Inscribed in pencil [p.4]: 'General Table of Levels'.
