Description | Graphical representations of monthly 'term day' magnetic observations made at Singapore. Curves for the declination, horizontal force, and vertical force magnetometers plotted against Gottingen mean time [top] and Singapore mean time [bottom].
Each sheet is signed by C.M. Elliot. Printed sheets are inscribed lower right: 'Wm. H. Allen & Co.m London'. Verso pages are largely blank, with some inscribed with a brief description; typed paper label [p.12]: 'Singapore. Curves of term day obsns of mag. and met. instruments. Jan 1843-Nov 1845'. Occasional despatch details, for example [p.2]: 'via Southampton 11 May/44'. |
