DescriptionTables of weather observations made at Deesa, Gujarat State, at the hospital of the 83rd Regiment. Readings taken at 6.00am and 9.00pm of the barometer, hygrometer, wind and cloud. Readings taken at 3.00pm of self registering thermometers, rainfall and wind maximum in the previous 24 hours. The observations conclude with general remarks on prevalent diseases, natural history [not completed] and weather remarks.

Each sheet is headed 'Meteorological Observatory at Deesa', with the month and year. Signed 'F.H. Clark Surgeon H.M. 83rd Regt'. Also signed by the superintending surgeon, 'C.T. Collier' [? - signature illegible]. With the note 'Observations made by The Medical Subordinates attached to the Hospl'. Each sheet is endorsed verso 'Meteorological Observatory for the month of...1854'
