DescriptionTables of dew point observations made at Deesa, Gujarat State. Readings taken at 6.30am, 9.30am, 3.30pm and 9.00pm on the first sheet [January 1858], but compressed to 9.30am and 3.30pm on subsequent table. Columns for date, dew point by Daniell's hygrometer, dew point by Regnault's hygrometer, dew point by Glaisher's tables, dew point by factors, and dry and wet bulb thermometer. With general weather remarks.

Each sheet is headed 'Hospital Right Wing H.M. 89th Regiment. Experimental Observations on Dew Point at Camp Deera for the month of...1858'. Inscribed 'Observations made by Corp. George Imrie H.M. 83rd Regt.'. Variously signed and endorsed by the Regimental Surgeon, Richard Gilborne, and by the Assistant Surgeons at the hospital, William Carden Roe, James Bonnyman and Alexander Robert Kilroy. Typed paper label [p.24]: 'Deasa. Daily dew point obs. 1858.'.
