DescriptionTables of weather observations made at Belagavi, Karnataka State, at the hospital of the 64th Regiment. Readings taken at 6.00am, 2.00pm and 6.00pm of the dry and wet bulb thermometer, barometer and attached thermometer, hygrometer and attached thermometer, self-registering instruments and wind direction. Columns for pluviometer and weights [not completed]. The observations conclude with general weather remarks.

Each sheet is headed 'HMs 64th Regiment Meteorological Observations taken at the Hospital of the above regiment during the month of...'. Signed 'J.G. Inglis M.D. Surgeon HM's 64: Regiment'. Each sheet is inscribed verso with similar information and the dates of completion on the first of the following month. Typed paper label [p.2]: 'Belgaum. Daily met obs. 1854.'.
