Description | Curves drawn by the self-recording anemometer and rain gauge at the Colaba Observatory. Each sheet has an upper graph with an ink track of rainfall [except on days when no rain fell], with a lower graph showing wind, from midday to midday commencing 30 June-1 July and concluding 30 September-1 October 1846. Printed sheets are marked in both Gottingen mean time and Bombay [Mumbai] local time.
Front cover inscribed in pencil: 'Wind Curves from 1st July to 1st October 1846'. The sheets are bound in the 'correct' chronological order, front to back. |
