DescriptionNotebooks containing records of magnetic and other observations made on the island of Colaba, Bombay. In two sequences, 1841-1842 and 1845-1846. apparently coinciding with Alfred Bedford Orlebar's attendance at the observatory.

A history of these readings with a description of the observatory, its staff and instruments, may be found in 'Observations made at the magnetical and meteorological observatory at Bombay, in the year 1846', by Arthur Bedford Orlebar (Bombay, American Mission Press, 1849).
