Headed [p.1]: 'Meteorological Observations at Plymouth Montserrat for the month of August [& September - deleted] 1839'. Signed [p.2] by Francis Burke, with a note: 'P.S. Reports for September and October will be forwarded on the 1st November next'. Inscribed [p.4]: 'Meteorological Report for August 1839 Plymouth Montserrat'.
