Description | When Low left Entebbe last October he brought back his own microcope and microforme, and left stains, reagents, 'and other materials the propoerty of the Royal Society', and believed Dr [Aldo] Castellani had enough apparatus. Castellani has written to Low and requested more gelatine, therefore Low asks Baird and Tatlock to send him some and charge it to the surplus pf the Scientific Fund. Low left Uganda three months ago and is unable to state what Castellani and Dr [Cuthbert] Christy have used. Low has heard the sleeping sickness hospital is to be moved from Entebbe 'as several cases have been infected apparantly from it', to the 'isolation island'. |
