TitleLetter from A E Holmes, Organising Secretary, London Society of Compositors, 7-9 St, Bride Stret, Ludgate Circus, London, to [Robert William Frederick] Harrison, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society
Date7 November 1907
Description'Dear Sir, I beg to acknowledge receipt of your reply of the 1st instant. As a result of further enquiries, I learn that the portion of the International Catalogue being produced at Ashford is The Chemistry Volume. In view of your kind enquiries, it appears that the firm holding the contract has thought fit to sub-let this part of the work, an arrangement which would improbably come under your notice, and justify the Director of the Catalogue in his assurance that no change had been made. Faithfully yours, A. E. Holmes'.
