Date21 September 1907
Description'Dear Sir, My Committee will be shortly considering the question of the future policy of the Library of the University of London at South Kensington, and I am desirous that they shall do so with full knowledge of the facilities offered by other London Libraries. In determining the function of our Library it seem desirable to avoid overlapping with other Libraries which are willing to admit University Students. I shall be greatly obliged if you will kindly supply me with particulars as to thestrong points of the Library under your administration, and the colections under which it can be used. I am, dear Sir, Yours faithfully, Reginald A Rye'.
