Title | Letter from [Arthur Everett] Shipley, Christ's College, Cambridge, to [Robert William Frederick] Harrison |
Creator | Shipley; Sir; Arthur Everett (1861-1927); zoologist |
Date | 1 October 1907 |
Description | 'Dear Mr Harrison, I got little help from Mrs Weldo, but I have consulted Sir Archibald Geikie, and I think if we insert (by A.E.S.) after the fourth word in the note on page 1, and delete all initials, the thing is now perfectly clear. Sir Archibald agrees with this solution, and I have written to tell Professor Karl Pearson that I have adopted it. With apologies for having given you so much trouble, Believe me, Yours very truly, A E Shipley. K.P. characteristically wants no reptints. I want 50'. |
